Held annually since 1947, the Hannover Messe has grown to become one of the most impressive and best respected trade fair options in the world. More than 6,000 exhibitors arrive each year to display new technologies, and provide examples of their skills for those staying in hotels around the Hanover fairground.
The success of this Hanover based trade expo has seen a number of spinoffs and international fairs created around the world. CeBit 2017 is the latest installment of the fair spun out of the original Hannover Messe, which has been in operation since the 1980s.
The CeBit 2018 was orginally created by a group of computer and IT specialists who felt the developing technologies of the 1980s would benefit from a specialist expo.
Another major event held at the messe centre is CeMAT, a Trade Fair for Materials Handling/Intralogistics and Logistics, as well as Agritechnica exhibition of agricultural machinery and equipment.
