Porto Campanhã Train Station -- Campanhã Station, Largo da Estação de Campanhã (tel: 221 052 700) is the city's main railway station with international, national and regional services, it handles trains to destinations throughout Portugal as well as international trains. From Campanhã railway station in Porto, Inter-regional trains travel south via many stops (including Espinho, Aveiro, Coimbra, Fatima, Santarem, Vila Franca de Xira), to Lisboa Santa Apolonia station in Lisbon.
Frequent trains run between the Campanhã and Sao Bento Train Station (the other central city centre railway station).
The train station is located on the eastern edge of the city, about 2km or 1¼ miles from the city centre of Porto in Portugal.
Intercity and Alfa Pendular trains arrive at the Porto Campanhã station. From Campanhã, you can connect with local 'Urbanos' trains for the 5 minute run to the city centre station of São Bento and also trains to the eastern suburbs
