Naples - Naples Railway Station - Napoli Centrale - Italy :

Naples Central Train Station -- Naples Train Station is located in the Piazza Garibaldi (Giuseppe Garibaldi Square), just east of Naples city center. It's really two stations in one: the upper section for the state run trains and the lower lever for the private Circumvesuviana line that will take you to Pompeii, Herculaneum (Ercolano), and Sorrento. You can also rent a car at Napoli Centrale, as well as get tourist information for the region. The train station was completed in 1960's. The rail station serves as the main railroad for Naples and Southern Italy.

The bus R3 from the Piazza Garibaldi in front of the Naples central railway train station will take you within three blocks of the ferries at Stazione Marittima. Other train stations include Mergellina, a small, nice old building, and Campi Flegrei.
