The stadium holds 17,400 and was built in 2000 after a construction period of 18 months. Tivoli Neu is part of the The Olympiaworld Innsbruck complex. This includes the renovated Olympic ice hall Olympiahalle, a new ice hall Tiroler Wasserkraft Arena, a sports center called Landessportcenter Tirol, and the stadium itself.
