Stamford Bridge Football Stadium -- Stamford Bridge is situated on the Fulham Road in South-west London and is easily accessed via Fulham Broadway District Line underground station. Stamford Bridge is the home of Chelsea FC and is one of the most impressive sporting venues in London.

Renovations to the ground were completed in 2001 and cost more than £100 million. The stadium now boasts two hotels and five restaurants. The new retail complex consists of more than 20,000 square meters of shopping. Also built in conjunction with the Science Museum is Chelsea World of Sport- where visitors are given the opportunity to participate in a variety of interactive sports tests and exhibits. The building also houses exhibits and displays on the history and rise of Chelsea FC.

Though always a fine football club, with their fair share of trophies and titles- Stamford Bridge has become a hive of excitement over the last 12 months since the club was bought by multi-billionaire Roman Abramovich. The influx of money into the club has meant that many of the worlds most gifted footballers are no longer out of the clubs financial reach- and with more than £100 million spent on players n the last year it is easy to see why Stamford Bridge is one of the most exciting clubs in the country.

The stadium now holds more than 42,000 fans and coupled with the fantastic premises and the injection of new money and players- it is easy to envisage Stamford Bridge as home to one of the greatest football teams in the world.

From The North, East or West:
Use the M25 to take you round to junction 15 and turn off onto the M4 towards London, follow the M4 which becomes the A4 up to Hammersmith. Stay on it over the Hammersmith flyover and for a further 1.5 miles before turning off for Earls Court. Go past Earls Court station and down the one way system until you hit Fulham Road, turn right at the traffic lights. Go staright on until the ground is on your right.
From The South:
Head for Wandsworth bridge to cross the river. If using Wandsworth bridge, cross the river and head straight up Wandsworth Bridge Road. At the Junction with New Kings Road turn right and then immediately left. This will take you up to Fulham Broadway, turn right onto Fulham Road and the ground will turn up on your left.
