Stade Maurice Dufrasne Football Stadium -- The stadium is officially known as the Maurice Dufrasne stadium, after the fifth president of Standard, Mr.Maurice Dufrasne. It is however better known as 'Sclessin', named after the village it is located in. Since the early sixties the stadium is often referred to as the Hell of Sclessin, due to tha amazing atmosphere created by its fanbase.

Opened -- 1984

Location -- Standard has its home base near Liege (Luik in Dutch), in a village called Sclessin. The stadium is easily reachable by car and public transport.

Address -- Rue de la Centrale 2, 4000 Liège

Club -- Standard de Liege

Club Colours -- Red and White

Directions -- You can either take the train direction Liege Guillemins, and then public busses to Sclessin. Or you can obviously come by car which is even easier. If you plan to come from Brussels (for example Brussels Airport Zaventem), you take direction Liege, until you get to the junction Seraing. You follow this for 1 km and get continue to follow Seraing - Grace Hollogne. After 4 kms you take the junction Jemappes and take a left at the lights. The stadium is about 5 kms down the road.

From Brussels (the motorway to Luik):
 At Loncin go in the direction of 'Namur'. Take the exit Seraing-Grace-Hollogne and follow the road down the mountain. Take exit 4 to Liege Hoei/Huy Jemeppe. Turn left in the direction of Liege and follow the road along the river until you see the stadium.
