Port of Dublin - Cruise Terminals :
Port of Dublin -- Dublin is the capital of Ireland and lies on Ireland's east coast, at the mouth of the River Liffey. Dublin Port is very centrally located, only minutes from Dublin city centre.
Major Cruise Lines departing from the Irish Port of Dublin are Azamara Club Cruises (Azamara Journey) and Silversea Cruises (Prince Albert II).
Six ferry companies operate daily connecting Dublin with Holyhead, Liverpool and Douglas.
Location -- Smaller cruise ships dock up the river Liffey close to the city centre while the larger cruise vessels berth in Alexandra Quay, located 2kms from the city centre. Alexandra Quay is about 30 minutes walk to the city but there is now a new tram system which is 15 minutes walk from the main berth.
Air Connections : The nearest airport is Dublin Airport, 10 km or 6 miles north of the city centre.
Rail : Dublin has two main railway stations. Dublin Heuston is situated west of the city center, and Dublin Connolly can be found in the north-east centre of the city.
Buses and taxis provide a regular service from the port to the city and beyond.
