Naples Ferry Port -- The Port of Naples is the main port for the millions of passengers that transit through the port every year in order to reach the nearby islands and locations in the Gulf of Naples, Salerno and the islands of Ponza. Molo Benverello (the Quay) is in front of Maschio Angioino which is in the middle of Piazza Municipio and is the area for embarkations for hydrofoils that go to some of the most breathtaking tourist attractions in the world. From Ferry Port Molo Beverello ferries and hydrofoils leave for Capri, Sorrento, Ischia, Procida. The ferry port of Molo Beverello is located in front of the Castel Nuovo, in the south-east of the city in Naples Italy. Alilauro and SNAV also operate hydrofoils to Ischia, Procida and Capri from Mergellina.

Molo Beverello is very busy ferry terminal, it's a popular launch point to get to various off shore islands, both near and far. Boats and hydrofoils leave frequently for Capri and Ischia as well as Sorrento and the smaller islands of Procida and Forio.

Longer-distance ferries for Palermo, Cagliari, Milazzo, the Aeolian Islands (Isole Eolie) and Tunisia leave from the Stazione Marittima, next to Molo Beverello.
