There is also a free guided Amsterdam walking tour that you can join in on, the tour guide shows up just outside of Centraal Station Tip : Rather than a hop on hop off bus there is a hop on hop off canal boat that stops at most of the sites such as the Rijksmuseum (Van Gogh very close by), Anne Frank and others.
