Africa is the World second largest continent, after Asia. The highest mountain that you find in Africa is the Mount Kilamanjaro. Mt Kilamanjaro is the world largest free standing mountain. It rises almost 20000 feet or 5895 meters above sea level. In africa you can find the world's largest river : The Nile. The river runs from Burundi to Egypt. Lake Victoria is Africa's biggest lake, the lake is surrounded by Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya. The African continent is bounded by the big Atlantic Ocean into the west, by the Red Sea to the northeast, by the Indian Ocean to the southeast and of course by the Mediterranean Sea to the north.
Africa is blessed by the largest Wildlife National Parks you can find on the planet. Many countries benefit from the Safari tourism such as Kenya ( Amboseli National Park , Masai Mara National Park , Tsavo East National Park , ...), South Africa ( Kruger National Park, Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park ) , Tanzania ( Serengeti National Park ), Namibia ( Etosha National Park ), ....
One of Africa's most beautiful cities is Cape Town in Western Cape South Africa. I have been there a couple times and still think it's one of the most beautiful places in the world. White sandy beaches, Table mountain of course, Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, the Waterfront and many more. Because of its geographical location, Cape Town and the Western Cape Province have a pleasant mediterranean climate that makes it a an all year travel destination.
We have stayed at Olaf's Guest House , located in the Cape Town suburb of Sea Point, only 10 minutes from the city centre and the new 2010 Green Point Soccer Stadium, situated between the Main Road and Beach Road, just below Signal Hill. Close to trendy Long and Kloof streets, with its restaurants and cafes, the V&A Waterfront, Camps Bay, and Table Mountain cable car station. The Staff will help you to find nice restaurants, the beaches and wine estates in the Cape Town region.
