Warsaw Frederic Chopin International Airport :

Warsaw intl. Airport -- The Warsaw Frederic Chopin Intl. Airport the largest airport in Poland, covering an impressive 834 hectares of land and handling 70% of the country’s air traffic. The Warsaw airport is formerly known as the Okęcie International Airport.

The Warsaw airport has three terminals : Terminal 1, Terminal Krajowy, for domestic flights and Etiuda Terminal. The latter is in a separate building and serves budget airlines such as Easyjet, Dauair, Germanwings, Skyeurope and Wizz Air. Airport Terminal 1 and airport Terminal 2 are adjacent to each other. The budget airline Departure facility, Etiuda, is served by buses.

The combined Airport, LOT Polish Airlines and Customs Information Point is located in the centre of the Terminal 1 Departures hall.

Location -- The Warsaw Frederic Chopin airport is located 10km (6 miles) southwest of Warsaw in Okecie.

Time zone -- GMT + 1 (GMT + 2 from last Sunday in March to last Sunday in October)

Driving Directions : The Warsaw airport can be accessed via Zwirki í Wigury Avenue, which leads out of the city centre of Warsaw.

Public Transport -- From downtown Warsaw to the airport head to Warsaw Central Station for buses, or if you are travelling by your own car find the Zwirki i Wigury street. It takes you all the way from Warsaw centre directly to the airport.

Bus stops are located immediately in front of the Arrivals hall. MZA City Buses 175 and 188 serve Warsaw, including the train station, the Old Town and the city centre (journey time - 30 minutes) during the day, while night bus N32 provides a link to the central railway station overnight.
